Sub-paragraph 'j' of Paragraph 10 of Resolution No. PQ-128 of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan dated March 28, 2025, "On additional measures to expand the raw material base of critical minerals for industry and accelerate production in 2025–2026," stipulates the launch of the project to develop the Taskazgan graphite deposit—which has a capacity of 140,000 tons of graphite concentrate—in the Peshku district of the Bukhara region by December 1, 2026.
To ensure the implementation of the resolution, the joint venture "GRAPHTECH MINING AND PRODUCTION" was established on April 16, 2025, as a limited liability company with "Anadolu Mining Overseas FZCO" (holding a 90% share) and "Uzbekistan Technological Metals Combine" JSC (holding a 10% share) as founders; the authorized capital was set at 40 billion soums.
Sub-paragraph 6 of Paragraph 6 of the program for developing the critical minerals sector for industry (covering 2025–2026) stipulates that the formation of shares in the joint venture's authorized capital—through monetary funds, technological equipment, components, raw materials, and supplies—must be completed by April 2026. We request that you submit your commercial proposals for the evaluation of documents substantiating the work carried out by "Yangi Kon" LLC at the Tazkazgan and Nurlikon deposits.
