🌎 In robotics, aviation, and modern mechanical engineering, the demand for lightweight and high-precision metal parts with complex geometric shapes is growing. One of the advanced methods for producing such items is 3D metal printing, or additive technologies.
💼 TMK R&D Park is developing the production of metal powders for additive technologies alongside its 3D printing operations. Under this project, a part is not manufactured using traditional cutting or casting methods—it is formed layer by layer from metal powder based on a digital model.
⚙️ The R&D Park is equipped to work with spherical metal powders based on Al, Co-Cr, Inconel, and Ti alloys. The production capacity for metal powders is planned to reach 2 tons per year.
💠 This technology enables the production of complex-shaped parts, the rapid manufacturing of prototypes and small batches, as well as a reduction in material consumption and production waste. At the R&D Park, additive technologies are geared toward high-tech industries such as mechanical engineering, aviation, and medicine.
⚡️ Through this initiative, TMK is developing a value chain that transforms critical and technological metals from ordinary raw materials into high-value-added materials and finished technological products.
