Tosh Tech University hosted the 5th International Scientific Conference on Science and Technology of Advanced Materials and Devices (STAMD 2026), dedicated to advanced materials, modern technologies, and innovative developments.
During the conference, Amir Abidov, Deputy Chairman of the Board for New Technologies, Innovation, and Artificial Intelligence at the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK), delivered a presentation on TMK's scientific and technological activities.
The event brought together representatives of leading research institutions and universities from Uzbekistan and abroad. Participants discussed ongoing research and promising developments in nanomaterials, solar energy, biomedicine, and optoelectronics.
Particular attention was paid to collaboration between academia and industry. During the panel discussion titled “Successes and Challenges in University–Industry Collaboration,” participants explored the achievements, existing challenges, and future prospects for strengthening technological partnerships.
STAMD 2026 served as an important platform for exchanging scientific knowledge, exploring cutting-edge technological solutions, and strengthening international cooperation between academia and industry.
