In Prague, the capital of the Czech Republic, events were held to promote trade, economic, and investment cooperation between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic. A representative of the Uzbekistan Technologic Metalls Complex (UzTMK) also participated in these meetings.
During the visit, a roundtable discussion was held with representatives of Czech businesses, along with bilateral meetings with executives of leading Czech companies.
In particular, during negotiations with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the UzTMK representative put forward proposals for promising projects in the technological metals industry, specifically regarding the development, processing, and export potential of strategic raw materials, rare earth elements, and critical minerals.
As a result of the visit, UzTMK reached promising agreements with the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Czech Republic, the Prague University of Chemistry and Technology, and several Czech companies, including Diamo, ZVVZ Engineering, and CE Industries.
The cooperation agreements signed between Uzbekistan and the Czech Republic will contribute to UzTMK’s operations in compliance with international technical standards.
