The "Uzbek-Finnish Business Forum" was held in Tashkent with the participation of the President of Finland, Alexander Stubb
A delegation led by the chairman of the TMK board, Farhod Abdullayev, also actively participated in the forum.
Representatives of the delegation held meetings and negotiations with the leaders of leading Finnish companies operating in the mining, metallurgical, engineering, and other industries. In particular, meetings were organized with companies such as Metso, Normet, GTK (Geological Survey of Finland), EPSE, Wärtsilä Energy, AINS Group, and GreyStar Real Estate Partners.
As a result of the forum, memorandums of understanding in the mining, geological, and metallurgical spheres were signed between TMK and Metso company, as well as between TMK's joint venture "Graphtech Mining and Production" LLC and Metso.
These agreements will further strengthen long-term economic cooperation between Uzbekistan and Finland and create new opportunities for joint investment and technological projects.
