Uzbekistan and Korea: Joint Project in Powder Metallurgy Launched

A preliminary agreement aimed at establishing cooperation has been signed between UTMK Smart Powder LLC, established under the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex, and one of the leading companies of the Republic of Korea — Korea Powder Metallurgy Co. Ltd.

 

This agreement provides for the implementation of advanced technologies in the production of powder metallurgy-based parts and the creation of new types of products. The agreement is of strategic importance for both parties and will enable them to offer competitive products in local and international markets.

 

During the meeting, priority areas of cooperation were identified:

 

introduction of modern powder metallurgy technologies in Uzbekistan;

establishment of high-quality industrial parts production;

enhancement of local specialists' qualifications and technology transfer;

strengthening Uzbekistan's international reputation through export-oriented products.

 

The project implementation is of great importance for the country's industrial sectors, opening up broad opportunities for developing new production capacities in the metallurgical industry and manufacturing innovative products.

 

UTMK Smart Powder, established under the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Plant, is an innovative enterprise aimed at opening new horizons in the field of powder metallurgy in our country. 

 

This center strives not only to attract advanced technologies but also to be competitive in the international arena by producing high value-added products.
