Today, the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex once again came into the spotlight as a leading organization shaping the rare metals industry through an innovative approach.
As part of the “Korea–Uzbekistan Rare Metals Center,” the third meeting of the ODA Management Committee was held — marking another practical step toward technological partnership and industrial integration between the two countries.
Key discussion topics included:
• delivery of new technological equipment;
• strengthening the capacity for sample production and quality assessment;
• a qualification enhancement program for engineers in Korea;
• the development of a cooperation roadmap for 2026.
“The joint development of technologies for the efficient processing and commercialization of rare metals by Korea and Uzbekistan inspires great expectations. As the Embassy of the Republic of Korea, we are fully committed to supporting this initiative until tangible results are achieved,” said Minister-Counsellor and Consul General of the Republic of Korea in Uzbekistan, Jang-hyun Kuk, during the meeting.
