At the international business forum "Growth Partner Uzbekistan - Strategy, Projects, Performance" held in Frankfurt, TMK showcased the country's important raw materials policy and technological metals strategy.
The event was organized by the Ministry of Investment, Industry and Trade in collaboration with Commerzbank and Frankfurt Main Finance, with participation from government representatives, banking and financial institutions, and major industrial companies.
TMK Board Chairman's Advisor Khan Ilkhan, in his presentation titled "Powering Tomorrow: Securing Critical Technological Metals from Uzbekistan," discussed the company's complete value chain based on the "deposit - metal - market" principle.
He presented TMK's integration model, which combines the following stages:
• Upstream - mining and geological exploration;
• Midstream - metal processing and enrichment;
• Downstream - production of high value-added products.
He also noted that to date, TMK is working on more than 100 projects involving over 25 strategic metals and mineral resources, forming a sustainable, environmentally responsible, and reliable supply source for European industry through research and development centers being established in special technoparks, as well as through international cooperation.
