A meeting was held at TMK's main office with a delegation from Korea Mine Rehabilitation and Mineral Resources Corporation (KOMIR), a leading state corporation of South Korea in the mining industry and mineral resources sector.
During the meeting, both parties presented their activities and major projects through presentations and discussed opportunities for mutual cooperation.
KOMIR proposed cooperation with TMK in the areas of post-mining reclamation and environmental safety, technological collaboration in critical metal supply chains, personnel training, and implementation of ESG standards.
Following the meeting, the parties reached a preliminary agreement on establishing long-term cooperation.
For reference, KOMIR is a leading Korean state-owned company in ensuring the safety of critical minerals, reclaiming areas affected by mining, environmental management, and implementing "green mining" standards.
