The Uzbek Technological Metals Complex (TMK) held a meeting with representatives from the country's leading research institutes dedicated to the further development of integration between science and industry.
The meeting was attended by specialists from the Physical-Technical Institute, the Institute of Nuclear Physics, the Institute of Geology and Geophysics, the Institute of Mineral Resources, the Institute of Materials Science, the Institute of Ion-Plasma and Laser Technologies, and TMK's R&D Park.
The parties discussed promising research projects aimed at increasing the efficiency of production processes and implementing innovative technologies.
Particular attention was paid to the following areas:
— synchronizing scientific potential with the needs of industry;
— expanding the portfolio of science and technology projects in Uzbekistan;
— creating and developing joint laboratories, as well as implementing pilot and experimental projects;
— expanding the production of high-value-added products.
Following the meeting, priority areas of cooperation between TMK and the scientific institutions were identified, and agreements were reached on the further joint implementation of research and innovation projects.
