A meeting with representatives of leading Turkish industrial companies was held at the head office of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK).
Türkiye continues to expand its economic and industrial ties with Central Asian countries, including Uzbekistan. Today, high-tech industries, metallurgy, and strategic metals are emerging as some of the most promising areas of cooperation between the two countries.
During the meeting, the parties discussed opportunities to establish long-term supplies of strategically important metals produced in Uzbekistan, including tungsten products, to meet the needs of Turkish industry.
Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to further develop cooperation in the strategic metals sector, establish a stable system of long-term supplies, and explore new mutually beneficial initiatives.
