A meeting with representatives of Standard Chartered was held at the head office of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK).
The meeting marked another practical step in advancing cooperation under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed during the 2026 Tashkent International Investment Forum.
Standard Chartered is a leading international banking group headquartered in London. With a history spanning more than 170 years, the bank operates across over 50 markets, with a strong presence in Asia, Africa and the Middle East.
During the meeting, the parties discussed TMK’s investment programme, ongoing and prospective projects, as well as potential financing structures and modern financial instruments to support their implementation.
Particular attention was given to financing backed by export credit agencies (ECAs), access to international capital markets, bank lending mechanisms, and funding opportunities for prospective industrial projects.
Cooperation with Standard Chartered will help strengthen TMK’s engagement with international financial institutions and broaden access to financing for its investment projects.
