A regular working meeting was held at the head office of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) with representatives of the Eurasian Development Bank (EDB), dedicated to advancing cooperation in the critical minerals sector.
This meeting was a continuation of the dialogue under the Memorandum of Cooperation signed this June between TMK and the EDB to finance projects for the extraction and processing of critical minerals and rare earth elements.
The parties discussed the practical implementation of the areas defined in the memorandum, opportunities for financially supporting promising projects, and further stages of cooperation.
In particular, they considered technical assistance mechanisms, support for investment activities, and various financial instruments that could be applied to finance promising projects.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their work on the further practical development of promising areas of cooperation.
