TMK Chemicals: 35 Key Facts for the 35th Anniversary of Uzbekistan’s Independence

US$54.5 million investment;
Annual production capacity of 500,000 tonnes of sulfuric acid;
Power generation potential of 152 million kWh per year.

These are more than just numbers…

TMK Chemicals is one of the flagship projects of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK), aimed at establishing modern sulfuric acid production in Uzbekistan and building the essential chemical infrastructure required for the deep processing of critical minerals.

The project will:
- establish the production of high-purity sulfuric acid;
- create a reliable reagent base for critical minerals processing;
- expand the value chain for high value-added products.

The project is a practical implementation of the priorities set by the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to modernize the chemical industry and increase the production of high value-added products. In particular, the planned production of magnesium, nickel, chromium, cobalt, and other strategic materials based on sulfuric acid further underscores the project's strategic importance.

TMK Chemicals marks a new chapter in the development of Uzbekistan’s chemical industry.
