A delegation from the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK), together with representatives of the University of Business and Science, paid an official visit to the prestigious Sookmyung Women's University in Seoul, Republic of Korea.
As part of the visit, the delegation held a meeting with the university’s President, Si Yeon Moon. During the meeting, the parties discussed expanding scientific and technological cooperation, supporting innovative projects, and promoting sustainable development.
🌍 Following the negotiations, the parties agreed to develop cooperation in the following areas:
• participation in joint international grant projects
• conducting scientific research in the field of artificial intelligence
• launching training and professional development programs
• promoting gender equality and expanding women's participation in science and technology
Priority areas of cooperation include:

➡️ applying artificial intelligence and digital technologies in industry
➡️ developing technological entrepreneurship and startup projects
➡️ introducing modern project management approaches
➡️ promoting gender equality, women’s leadership, and expanding opportunities in STEM fields
This visit aims to strengthen the strategic partnership between TMK and the South Korean scientific community, accelerate the transfer of innovative technologies, and foster an inclusive and sustainable scientific environment with balanced gender participation.
