A delegation from the R&D Park of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex conducted a working visit to the Republic of Belarus to establish practical cooperation mechanisms for the industrial application of high-tech materials.
During the visit, negotiations were held with leading research and industrial institutions, including the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, the Scientific and Practical Center for Materials Science of the NAS of Belarus, the Physico-Technical Institute, the Academician O.V. Romanov Institute of Powder Metallurgy, and NPO Center JSC.
Key areas of cooperation:
- Synthetic diamonds and advanced CVD coatings;
- Hard materials and powder metallurgy technologies;
- Additive manufacturing (3D printing);
- Plasma technologies and next-generation protective coatings.
As a result of the visit, memoranda of cooperation were signed with the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus and the Academician O.V. Romanov Institute of Powder Metallurgy.
The parties agreed to launch joint R&D projects, implement technology transfer, and establish pilot production facilities.
In addition, the localization of NPO Center JSC in Uzbekistan as a resident of the R&D Park was agreed in principle.
