Han Ilhan, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) and an international expert, took part in the first-ever “U.S.–Central Asia Think Tank Forum” held in Tashkent.
The main theme of the forum focused on strengthening sustainable cooperation between Central Asia and the United States, ensuring economic and resource security, and developing new solutions in the field of Critical Raw Materials (CRM).
In his presentation, Han Ilhan highlighted Uzbekistan’s unique advantages in this regard. He introduced TMK’s integrated “mine–metal–market” model — a system that unites the upstream, midstream, and downstream stages into a single value chain.
The key idea emphasized throughout the forum was turning dialogue into tangible outcomes — by expanding regional production capacities, enhancing midstream processing capabilities, and advancing joint R&D and education programs to create new jobs and a solid foundation for sustainable economic growth in Central Asia.
TMK stands ready to work with international partners through open dialogue and practical cooperation to advance innovation, strengthen regional resilience, and build a sustainable future for Central Asia.
