Today, China's interest in Uzbekistan's critical mineral sector is growing significantly. A clear confirmation of this process was the meeting held yesterday at the TMK headquarters with CNCEC Sixth Construction, a major Chinese state-owned engineering and construction corporation.
At the start of the meeting, the parties gave presentations on their areas of activity and current projects. The main focus was on tungsten projects and opportunities for cooperation in this field.
The parties exchanged views on extracting valuable components from technogenic waste, evaluating promising mining areas, developing geological exploration, and producing high value-added tungsten products.
This meeting was noted as the beginning of long-term cooperation between TMK and CNCEC.
For information, CNCEC is one of China's largest state-owned engineering and construction corporations with extensive international experience in building industrial facilities, processing complexes, and factories. The company has implemented major projects in more than 50 countries.
