Dilnoza Nurmatova is a specialist who has been working as a concentrator operator at the Ingichka Beneficiation Plant for 18 years. Her entire family—her father, mother, brother, and younger brothers—are part of a dynasty selflessly dedicated to the field of geology.
"I am often asked if this work is too difficult for a woman. Since our entire family works in geology, this environment is familiar to us. Tungsten is used in phones, airplanes, and space technologies. We stand at the very beginning of this metal's production chain. When I realize this, I am filled with a sense of pride," she says.
But for her, this work is not just a process. It's a source of pride!
