The UzTMK delegation continues to participate in meetings of the European Carbon and Graphite Association (ECGA).
On April 9, a meeting of the ECGA Energy Committee was held, and today the ECGA General Assembly took place.
As part of the assembly, Amir Abidov, Deputy Chairman of the UzTMK Board for Science and Development, gave a presentation to representatives of the international community about the plant's activities, research directions, and international cooperation initiatives.
The assembly also heard reports on the following topics:
The state of energy and carbon markets;
European Clean Industry Agreement;
The latest European Union policy in the field of industry and energy;
ECGA Strategic Directions for 2025-2026.
This participation plays an important role for UzTMK in studying European experience in industry decarbonization, sustainable energy policy and technological solutions, as well as strengthening international relations.
