TMK initiates international cooperation with Japan on molybdenum

An important meeting took place at the headquarters of the Uzbek Technological Metals Complex with representatives of the prestigious trading and investment company Mitsui & Co.

During the negotiations, the parties gave mutual presentations, familiarized each other with their areas of activity and key projects, and discussed promising formats for cooperation.

As a result of the meeting, TMK and Mitsui & Co. reached a preliminary agreement on joint supplies of molybdenum products to Japanese and European markets, as well as on establishing tolling services.

For reference: Mitsui & Co., founded in 1947, is one of the largest industrial and financial groups in Japan, operating on all continents - North and South America, Europe, CIS countries, Asia, Africa, Oceania, and the Middle East.

The new cooperation will allow for the introduction of international experience and advanced approaches into the national industry, expand the production of high value-added products, and further strengthen Uzbekistan's position as a reliable partner in the global market for critically important minerals.
