A meeting was held at the headquarters of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK) with representatives of AECOM Technical Services and the U.S. side.
During the meeting, the parties were provided with detailed information on TMK’s activities in the field of critical and strategic minerals, its existing production and resource potential, as well as the ongoing work related to the implementation of prospective investment projects.
One of the key topics of discussion was the possibility of establishing cooperation with TMK as an industrial partner under the PGI/TCTR program and developing practical opportunities within this framework.
The parties exchanged views on mechanisms for conducting technical and economic assessments of prospective projects, enhancing their investment attractiveness, preparing them for engagement with international financial institutions and investors, as well as providing the necessary technical and transaction advisory support.
The meeting also explored opportunities for cooperation with AECOM in screening prospective projects, conducting technical, economic, financial, and transaction due diligence, and preparing projects for financing.
At the conclusion of the meeting, the parties agreed to continue their dialogue on developing industrial cooperation with TMK under the PGI/TCTR program, preparing prospective projects in line with international standards, and advancing them toward financing readiness.
