The TMK delegation took part in the 4th meeting of the International Council for Program Management of the Korea-Uzbekistan ODA Center for Rare Metals in Incheon, South Korea.
The meeting discussed technical specifications of metallurgical and research equipment to be supplied to Uzbekistan in 2026, as well as plans for the phased commissioning of testing laboratories and production lines.
The main goal is to create a system for producing high value-added products by introducing modern technologies in Uzbekistan.
Expected outcomes: advanced processing of tungsten, molybdenum, rhenium, vanadium, and other critical metals.
Korea is a world leader in cutting-edge technologies, industrial robotics, and semiconductors. Uzbekistan possesses rich and stable raw material resources.
This cooperation will enable Uzbekistan to transfer technologies and modernize its industrial infrastructure, while allowing Korea to establish a sustainable and diversified source of supply.
