A special seminar dedicated to the development of ESG principles in the mining industry was held at the head office of Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK).
The keynote speaker at the seminar was Casilda Malagon, CSR and Communications Manager at the Uzbek-French joint venture Nurlikum Mining, and an international ESG consultant with over 20 years of professional experience with the ICMM.
The event included a discussion on modern approaches to environmental sustainability, social responsibility, and corporate governance in the mining sector, as well as international standards and practical ESG tools.
Currently, TMK is consistently working to establish a modern model of “green” industry, harmoniously combining ESG principles with corporate governance, industrial safety, environmental responsibility, and innovative production.
