In accordance with the resolution of the United Nations (UN) General Assembly, 30 July is celebrated worldwide each year as the International Day of Friendship. This global observance promotes mutual respect, trust, and lasting peace among nations, cultures, and people around the world.
🇺🇿 Uzbekistan is among the few countries that have formally recognized this international initiative through national legislation. At the initiative of President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, the Day of Friendship of Peoples has been officially celebrated in the country since 2021. Today, representatives of more than 130 nationalities and ethnic groups live and work together in an atmosphere of peace, harmony, and mutual respect.
💼 These values are also reflected in the corporate culture of the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex (TMK). Today, nearly 20 nationalities work side by side at TMK as one united team, striving toward a common goal.
The diversity of cultures, experience, and perspectives is one of our greatest strengths—driving innovation, fostering creativity, and strengthening international cooperation.
