A trade mission focused on critical raw materials, led by His Excellency Niko Schermers, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to Uzbekistan, visited the Uzbekistan Technological Metals Complex.
The delegation included representatives of the Port of Rotterdam, JL MAG Rare Earths, WMC Group, Runz Holding, and the Benelux Chamber of Commerce, bringing together key stakeholders in critical minerals, logistics, and global supply chains.
During the meeting, the guests were presented with TMK’s investment portfolio, the Metals of the Future Technopark, and its integrated value chain — from geological exploration to deep processing and the manufacture of finished products.
The parties discussed prospects for cooperation in critical minerals, the processing of magnetic materials for batteries and electric vehicles, as well as the development of logistics and international supply chains.
Following the meeting, the parties agreed to develop new formats of cooperation in the critical minerals sector by combining investment, technologies, and logistics capabilities.
