The Deputy Chairman of the Board of TMK for Science and Development, Amir Abidov, was the keynote speaker at the panel session "Development of the Startup Support Ecosystem: Challenges and Opportunities," held as part of "InnoWeek-2025."
The session addressed challenging issues related to integrating startups into corporations. Discussions covered differences in managing startups versus corporations, approaches to documentation and strategic directions, and types of venture financing.
In his presentation, Amir Abidov provided detailed information about the R&D ecosystem being created by TMK, including R&D parks and technoparks, the nanoanalytical laboratory, the Uzbek-Korean Center for Rare Metals, and the Higher School of Technological Metals.
He also highlighted the benefits and opportunities TMK offers to startup enterprises, including a corporate accelerator, incubator, corporate venture financing, as well as awards given to scientists for articles published in SCI (Science Citation Index) journals.
