Today, one of the most important sessions within the framework of UIMF-2025 was dedicated to the topic of critical minerals and technological sustainability.
Han Ilhan, Advisor to the Chairman of the Board of TMK, delivered a keynote speech on "Critical Minerals: Ensuring Sustainability in Global Supply Chains."
In his speech, he emphasized the crucial role of critical minerals such as tungsten, molybdenum, rhenium, nickel, cobalt, selenium, tellurium, graphite, and rare earth elements in technological development, as well as the advantages of TMK's integrated approach based on the "mine-metal-market" principle.
The session also discussed Uzbekistan's role in the global mineral agenda, prospects for deep processing of the local resource base, and opportunities for creating a sustainable production chain based on ESG principles.
