On December 26, 2025, President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, in his Address to the Oliy Majlis and the people of Uzbekistan, noted:
"In 2026, we will declare a 'state of emergency' in the fight against this evil."
💠 The Head of State also emphasized that the position of deputy head responsible for compliance and internal anti-corruption control will be introduced in all departments, and personal responsibility for every soum of state funds and resources will be strengthened.
⚖️ With Law No. ZRU-1155, adopted on June 22, 2026, new legal mechanisms were introduced into the anti-corruption system.
