In recent years, the "industry-science-production" chain system for personnel training, proposed by President Shavkat Mirziyoyev, has been widely implemented in our country. The Uzbekistan Technological Metalls Complex has identified this direction as one of its priority tasks and pays special attention to training modern, qualified specialists.
The visit of TMK representatives to the Camborne School of Mines, one of the world's leading educational centers in mining, geology, and mineral resources in Great Britain, was also aimed at achieving this goal, during which several agreements were reached:
⚡️ Implementation of British educational standards at the Higher School of Technological Metals;
⚡️ Launch of the "1+1" joint master's program;
⚡️ Exchange of students and professors, joint implementation of research work;
⚡️Transfer of modern laboratory experience in mineral resources and technological metals to Uzbekistan.
Also, during the visit, TMK representatives familiarized themselves with the advanced laboratories of the Camborne School of Mines, modern educational infrastructure, cutting-edge equipment, and research facilities in mineralogy, hydrometallurgy, mining engineering, and geotechnics.
This visit was carried out with the support of the British Embassy in Tashkent and the Cornwall Mining and Geo-Resources Alliance.
