In accordance with the Decree of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan No. PP-4366 dated June 27, 2019, the press secretary of state bodies and organizations also serves as an advisor on information policy and holds the same status as a deputy head in terms of remuneration, medical care, and transportation services.
Press Secretary's Responsibilities:
• Regularly and comprehensively inform the public about UzTMK’s activities through media, social networks, and other information channels, including organizing press conferences, briefings, and media tours.
• Develop and implement initiatives to communicate and highlight the country’s socio-political and socio-economic development processes.
• Shape and promote a positive image of UzTMK by conducting social surveys and studying public opinion using various methods.
• Foster effective cooperation with the Information and Mass Communications Agency under the Administration of the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan to achieve tasks in the field of information policy.
• Collaborate with media outlets to ensure the timely dissemination of information to journalists and bloggers who regularly interact with UzTMK’s information services.
• Regularly organize media engagements for the heads of state bodies and organizations.
• Monitor and analyze the information landscape, promptly respond to critical issues and widespread information challenges, and organize the dissemination of relevant content in the media and online platforms.
• Prepare statements, briefings, comments, and other informational and analytical materials in collaboration with state bodies and organizations for distribution to local and international media.
• Study public opinion and analyze the perspectives of national and international media regarding the activities of the Chairman of the Board, providing relevant proposals and updates to state leadership.
• Publish draft regulatory legal acts and approved documents related to the competence of state bodies and organizations on the official website in accordance with established procedures.
• Maintain and regularly update a database of text, photo, audio, and video materials related to the activities of state bodies and organizations.
